The last 6 months I've been working on this at work. And it is finally out. Woohoo
(PSN version coming in about a month)

Anyone here remember the original? I've been checking out reviews online and it seems to be going over well. Some of the bigger sites like IGN and 1up haven't given it very good reviews but they also don't seem to like the original game. You can check out some of the reviews here.

You helped on the production of this? Wow pretty cool. I remember the original. It was one of my favorite games back in the day.

I did the compliance/gameplay testing on it since November 09.

The PSN version should be out in a few weeks. We just finished up production on it last week.

I find it funny that a lot of posts I seen online says Microsoft paid for a one month timed exclusive. haha It was developed on 360 first and ported to PS3. It is the only reason why the PS3 version is being released a month later.

So is it worth buying or not? I was thinking about it earlier.

I think it is for the price. Content wise there isn't much to the game to begin with. Single player only takes abut 50 to 60 minutes to complete if you don't die much. (I still cant clear the game without dying. even after 6 months) And the Multiplayer takes about 45 minutes to complete. Some of the achievement are extremely hard. So if your into getting them all it will take you some time to do it. Or you will just go bald pulling out your hair trying.

This version was created from scratch so its not a smoothed over version of the original. Its actually created in HD right from the start. But Its pretty close to the original.

I think I'll check to see what other arcade games and add-ons that aren't released yet, in case there is I run out of MS points.

Christ it took forever but EWJ HD is now on the PSN in Europe. Hopefully in North America next week.

The storyline involves many colorful characters. Jim himself (a character designed and also voiced by Doug TenNapel) was at first an ordinary earthworm who did very earthworm-like things such as flee from crows and eat dirt. One day, in the space above Earth, the evil Psy-Crow had cornered a rebel spaceship pilot who had stolen an "Ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit" built by Professor Monkey-For-A-Head. The suit had been commissioned by the evil Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt so that she could further conquer the galaxy. In the ensuing space fight, the suit was dropped to Earth, and fell on Jim. By a stroke of luck, Jim managed to land within the collar of the suit, and it ended up mutating him into the large and intelligent (at least by earthworm standards) superhero he is today.
