A trifecta of patches, here or on the way [update]

The fine folks at Destructoid have written about three new patches for popular games that are either here already or coming very soon.

A patch for Heavy Rain is coming soon that will fix the freezing issues people were having, among other things. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Aliens Vs Predator will also be updated soon; this patch will primarily be to make “weapon tweaks and [provide] faster matchmaking.” Finally, the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has just received a patch that fixes a whole array of minor issues in the game.

It’s nice to see these games are getting fixed up!

Update 3/23: It appears the PC version of Aliens Vs Predator has also received a new patch.

YouTube user and forum member emerio just recently uploaded a new glitch video for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 that shows how to get outside of the level “Zero Dark Thirty.”

It’s really too bad that DICE had to put in a “don’t go too far or we’ll respawn you back inside the level” timer, but emerio works within that restriction and shows us some cool places around the edges of the level. Check out the video on YouTube or watch the embedded clip below:
